Texture white - My show stopper

Texture white and its effects
An abstract artwork celebrating colors and texture white

This painting is really special. To me, it looks as though Santa celebrated the Indian festival of colors (Holi).

I also love the texture white application on this paper. I maybe biased because I love texture white! Texture white has a soothing effect, and I realize that it relaxes my nervous system. It is also fun to apply texture white to an abstract artwork, because it does not have to take a definite form or shape.

It can be anything!

It has been a few weeks, since I painted this artwork. Now, I see different shapes. It is fascinating to touch the painting after it has dried off. One would enjoy the feel of texture, especially If they are a highly sensitive person like me and enjoy feeling objects or materials.

I must add, that the red color in the background stands out and makes the texture white look more prominent. To me, texture white is a show stopper. Among the other colors, I keep looking at the parts with texture white with deep fascination.

What stands out for you?

Also, can you see the different shapes in between? I see a fish and an eye somewhere in the middle. What about you? What do you see?

(P.S. - You will have to keep your thinking mind out of this activity to have fun and notice shapes.)

-3, 2, 1, Cheers,

Pranita
