HSPS as caterpillars

I truly believe that everyone is ever-changing. I do feel that HSPs do undergo more transitions than non-HSPs.

A few years ago, I would often think as to why I am not reaching the same milestones as my family members or friends. There have always been delays in my life; These delays would be frustrating, as I could not equate it to the hardwork I would put into all areas of my life.

As I look at this photo, and while I am blogging about it, I do feel that I am a caterpillar (and less of a butterfly). I find that caterpillars are beautiful, delicate, and have a great ability to grow.

I think this is a great metaphor for HSPs. It gives one perspective about being unique and having a unique path.

Also, caterpillars are cute!

I would love to know what you feel about your journey as an art-enthusiast/artist or as an HSP? Are you more of a caterpillar or a butterfly?
