I know that it is easy to get stimulated with information and have challenges with focusing on tasks. I sometimes prefer to paint first and then do my work.
Today, I am finding it tough to paint as laptop work is becoming a priority. I can already see the difference today, I feel less energized than usual.
When I paint, I feel as though my nervous system is more relaxed, and the colors make me more attentive. The advantage of working with abstract art is that it cuts through mental chitter-chatter, and it helps in processing information.
I have created over 150 paintings, and I've noticed that with time, it has helped me improve my focus levels.
We all can use a break from focusing on stimulating activities. I find abstract art to be a great way to shift our mindset and make us feel lighter.
So, dear highly sensitive person, I am assured that abstract art can soothe me and increase my focus.
