Hello highly sensitive souls,
Sorry about last week's posts. I accidentally sent an extra post. It was titled 'end of each post'. I love and hate technical errors. They make me want to love and approve of myself, regardless of my imperfections.
Coming to today's topic, let's talk about movement and the need for easier spiritual tools.
When I say movement, here, I am referring to abstract art and the movement it can bring into the lives of highly sensitive people.
Abstract art can move us from a place of overwhelm to a place of centeredness.
It is challenging to be in a state of complete centeredness if one is overstimulated.
Utilizing abstract art in such times can help us shift from a state of chaos into a state where we can recognize the triggers causing the chaos.
Abstract art has such an effect on our nervous systems. Our sensitivity makes us open to the spiritual abilities of creativity.
This brings me to the topic of spirituality. I pursue different spiritual paths and utilize spiritual tools like meditations, reiki energy, and prayers. However, in all honesty, I've felt that most of them are not compatible with the talkative and happy-go-lucky sides of me.
I find that some of the spiritual tools can suppress my natural gifts like talking, laughing, or being extroverted.
Hence, I love to utilize abstract art as a spiritual tool. It can do what some meditations do for me. More importantly, it doesn't suppress my natural gifts.
It has the capability to nourish my extroverted side. It can be fun to work with abstract art, and I feel heard when I paint.
We all are trying to find an inner connection with spiritual tools and paths. Why don't we utilize abstract art to do so too?
Isn't it more supportive and easier?
Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.
